Stanford Medicine has developed ChatEHR, an AI-powered tool designed to accelerate the chart review process by enabling clinicians to interact directly with patient medical records through natural language queries. Currently in a pilot phase involving 33 clinicians at Stanford Hospital, ChatEHR helps automatically summarize charts and quickly answer specific medical questions, such as allergies or test results, enhancing efficiency in clinical workflows.
